I'm a convert! I was a shampoo and conditioner bar novice, so I was hesitant to try. With the tips listed on the site, I was able to match the lather I get with a typical shampoo. The conditioner bar was equally as easy to use. Afterwards, my hair was noticeably shiny and soft. Also, I love that there is less clutter in my shower and even better, less clutter in the ocean! Win, win - all around! Will definitely buy again!

Star Bars are the best! Great that you can avoid the plastics! My fine hair gets tangled in shampooing. I leave the conditioner on while I finish my shower, then rinse, and I can just comb the snarls out when I’m done. Amazing!

I started using StarBars a few months ago, starting out with the Strength shampoo and conditioner bars. I've always had trouble with the texture of my hair, and this is one of the first shampoos and conditioners that I've really liked--it doesn't leave my hair slimy and flat like so many other conventional products, and I've found that I now really enjoy styling my hair. I'm trying out the Clarity shampoo bar at the moment because I've had longstanding troubles with oily hair, and I love this shampoo as well. In addition to really enjoying how the texture and feel of my hair, the smell of the shampoo and conditioner is really amazing. I've been very impressed with the quality of the products, and would definitely recommend them! As someone that has had a lot of trouble finding cleansing products that work for my hair, I would say that StarBars are a great thing to try. The sustainability component is also great :). Overall, I've been very happy with my experience!

What I do know is I use the Strength and my hair is less frizzy (curly hair problems) and shiny. And I feel great about supporting a local hood river company and helping the environment. Win win.
