Blueberry Extract: A powerful antioxidant that prevents breakage, repairs damage, and boosts hair growth.

Apricot Kernel Oil: Adds softness without greasiness. Strengthens weak hair and promote a healthier scalp, leading to increased growth.

Daikon Seed Extract: Adds noticeable shine and is hydrating without being oily.

Coconut Oil: Coconut oil has high amounts of fatty acids, plus anti-microbial and anti-bacterial properties. It penetrates hair without leaving it feeling heavy or greasy, and adds natural shine.

Panthenol (Pro vitamin B5): Boosts cell production, making it an excellent ingredient for damaged hair.

Bootleg Gin Fragrance: Bright, rich, deep and herbal, and slightly floral. Cypress with a hint of juniper and distilled sugar. Paraben free.

Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate (SCI): SCI is derived from coconuts, and produces a creamy lather that gently cleans and leaves the hair with a soft, silky feel.

Sodium Lauryl Sulfoacetate (SLSa): Unlike traditional SLS (Sodium Lauryl Sulfate), which can be harsh and irritating, SLSa is a much milder, safer, and gentler alternative. It is also eco-friendly, biodegradable, and doesn’t contribute to water pollution. Derived from coconut or MB palm, SLSa is an effective cleansing agent that doesn’t strip skin or hair of their natural oils. SLSa also creates luxurious, abundant, long lasting lather.

I started using StarBars a few months ago, starting out with the Strength shampoo and conditioner bars. I've always had trouble with the texture of my hair, and this is one of the first shampoos and conditioners that I've really liked--it doesn't leave my hair slimy and flat like so many other conventional products, and I've found that I now really enjoy styling my hair. I'm trying out the Clarity shampoo bar at the moment because I've had longstanding troubles with oily hair, and I love this shampoo as well. In addition to really enjoying how the texture and feel of my hair, the smell of the shampoo and conditioner is really amazing. I've been very impressed with the quality of the products, and would definitely recommend them! As someone that has had a lot of trouble finding cleansing products that work for my hair, I would say that StarBars are a great thing to try. The sustainability component is also great :). Overall, I've been very happy with my experience!
